Plastifusion system was designed to satisfy the requirements of water distribution facilities and other pressurized fluids even in the presence of temperature.

Both pipes and accessories are manufactured using Random Polypropylene Type 3 of suitable characteristics for the planned service and under recognized international standards.

Manufactured in accordance with UNIT ISO 15874 in sizes from 20mm to 110mm, Plastifusion system is the ideal solution for a wide variety of applications.

Main features:

  • Hydrosanitary facilities at pressure and temperature.

  • Reduced installation time.

  • Complete system of tubes and accessories.

  • Metal inserts in the accessories.

  • Total security in the unions

  • Millimeter series.

  • Acoustic isolation.

  • Low thermal conductivity.

ACCESORIES

Aplications

  • Transport of fluids at high pressure and temperature.

  • Pipes for closed heating systems.

  • Home Water systems (cold and hot).

  • Industrial and laboratory applications.

  • Ideal for using on irregular surfaces due to their flexibility and lightweight.

Advantages

  • Reduced time of installation: 30% time saving compared to other traditional systems.

  • Lightweight, easy to transport and manipulate.

  • Does not get corroded.

  • Does not allow the formation of crust, its perfectly smooth internal surfaces prevent sediments from incrusting

  • Better resistance to internal pressure at high temperatures and for long periods of time.

  • High resistance to impact

  • Better resistance to abrasion

  • High chemical resistance to aggressive substances, and under unfavourable conditions (concrete, building mixes, industrial fluids).

  • Reduces pressure losses by friction due to the smoothness of surfaces and connections.

  • Higher acoustic isolation: components have a high deadening of acoustic waves coefficient which limits sound propagation.

  • Low thermal conductivity, decreases thermal losses through the pipe.

  • Suitable for carrying cold or hot drinkable water and food products, fulfilling national and international regulations.

  • Excellent welding properties

  • Maximum security due to their thermo-weldable joints.

  • Long Lifespan (at least 50 years).

  • More economic, considering the ratio cost/profit and the better reliability these pipes are unsurpassable in their applications by other products (PVC, galvanized iron, copper).

Pipe’s Marks

PN 25 series of tubes (nominal design pressure 25 Kg / cm 2) is distinguished by its classic 3 Brown lines, while the PN20 series by its 3 Red lines and PN12.5 by 3 White lines.

They also have an indelible and easy to read mark in every meter of the pipe with the following text:

TubeMark

Joint Method

To obtain a correct welding the following instructions must be followed:

Welding with thermoweldable fittings

Cut the pipe at right angle, if necessary remove swarf from inside.  instalacion1instalacion2instalacion 3instalacion4
Wipe the heater bush with a clean cloth
Clean the fitting inside and the pipe outside.
Heat the pipe end (penetration length indicated) and the fitting socket for the time required in Table Nº 3.Line up and insert rapidly the pipe in the fitting holding both sides during time specified in Table Nº 3.Contol that the outer fusion seam is visible all around the pipe.

Welding with electroweldable couples

Clean and scrape the union zone. Degrease the pipe’s ends to be joined. Push in the pipe until the socket is centered between the two pipes. Connect the clamps to the resistor terminals on the fitting and make sure
that the connection is correct. Follow the instructions to program and operate the welding machine.
